My first name is Matthew. My middle name is Kelly.
In my fifth grade class there were 7 Matthew’s.
That was when I decided to go by Kelly.
I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up; to follow in the footsteps of my grandpa, Harvey, then…
Spring break of senior year I drove to California. I remember thinking I need a camera for these landscapes. I stopped and bought a throw away. I still wish I could find that film!! That started my love for photography right there.
I love stories.
I love experiencing new perspectives that I am unfamiliar with.
I’m a believer in Lombardi time.
Small things matter.
Be a team player.
I have a copy of the scream painting in my office. Sometimes I look at it and just scream.
I enjoy a big belly, can't breath laugh.
I wish Puma would bring back their skate style Puma’s from the mid 90s. Juss sayin'.
I enjoy pushing boundaries as much as I can. Nothing great has come out of anything less.
I’m passionate, caring and patient. Being kind seems like a lost art lately. Let's bring it back!
I work with a high energy level, having fun and adapting to circumstances that change often. My crew works from love as I do, so when the crew knows what lane to be in, the team is more productive, production is streamlined and the work is more enjoyable.
I want to build relationships with others who are as passionate as I am about creating the best work possible.
I’m motivated by enjoying radiant, creative relationships that help all members of the team and to further expand our relationship and connection to continue making great work together.
When I’m in the zone it’s a combination of prep, experience, creative direction and collaboration.
Bringing the idea from paper to life.
You can expect 110% from me and my team. No matter what challenges arise.
At the end of the day it's about the work. About relationships. The dynamic of you trusting me that I can deliver what you envision.
From beginning to end.
I always heard "Don't be carrying sand bags at 35!!", I'm 39 now and sandbags still need carried. I will continue to carry them if need be.
It takes a village and I'm blessed to be a resident!
