My first name is Matthew. I go by my middle name.

In my fifth grade class there were 7 Matthew’s in my homeroom.

Seven.

That was when I decided to go by Kelly.

I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up, to follow in the footsteps of my grandpa, Harvey, then…

spring break of senior year I drove to California to see my sister. I remember thinking I wish I had a camera for these landscapes. I stopped and bought a throw away. I still wish I could find that film!! That started my love for photography right there.

At the end of the day it's about the work. About relationships. Within those relationships, you trusting me that I can deliver what you envision.

I want to build relationships with others who are as passionate as I am about creating the best work.

I’m motivated by enjoying radiant, creative relationships that help all members of the team and to further expand our relationship and connection to continue making great work together.

When I’m in my zone it’s a combination of creative direction and collaboration, bringing the idea from paper into an image.

I strive to make sure the point is coming across in my image or a series of images whether it’s something for an e-commerce client, commercial ad or for any of my personal projects. What are we saying?

I give 110%, pre, during and post, for every project.

I always heard not to be "carrying sand bags at 35", I'm 39 now and sandbags still need carried, I will continue to carry them if need be.

I went to college at the Ohio Institute of Photography, studying commercial photography and digital imaging.
